Set a Schedule

First and foremost, it’s imperative to take a look at your current schedule and see when you are able to work out. If you don’t have set times scheduled, then the likelihood of you skipping on your exercises goes way up. Take a look at your current schedule, and any free time you see, jot it down to work out. Try and plan to workout at least 3-4 days a week. Whether this is weights, step aerobics, swimming, running, walking or yoga, make certain you’re active so you don’t break your healthy habit!

Workout at Home

With today’s technology, there are plenty of DVDs, CDs, online videos and apps you can utilize to get the most out of your home exercise sessions. You’ve heard it before… getting into shape is not just about exercising, but eating well also. Drink Plenty of Water

Up to 60% of the human adult body is made up of water, so it is imperative to keep yourself hydrated, especially with physical exercise being added to your schedule. The amount that you should be ingesting depends on your size and weight. It is suggested that you drink between half an ounce to an ounce of water per pound every day. For example, if you weigh 200 pounds, you ought to be drinking 100-200 ounces a day. Not only is this a healthy habit to form, but it will help you lose weight faster because your body will be fully hydrated, allowing it to work at optimal levels.

Start Positive Habits
